DH.82 Flight Records

1953

Bruce Batterham learnt to fly the de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth, a 1930’s British Biplane. Below is copy of his original flight records we had the opportunity to digitize and restore.

Charles and Adeline Batterham nee Howison in front of the Hotel Steyne, Manly. In keeping with the then fashion young male children were dressed like females.

Addressed to Master Harold Batterham of Delungra NSW and sent during the first world war.

The Old Ballarat

Ballarat VIC – 1922

This photo is believed to be “The Old Ballarat” gold mine in Victoria. Memoirs of Harold Batterham mentioned that no gold was found here and consequently he was not paid.
